Awarded two AA rosettes, The Montagu is not only a welcoming restaurant for hotel guests but also prides itself on being a neighbourhood restaurant where you can enjoy thoughfully sourced food from independent British farms and the local award-winning suppliers.
With picturesque views over Portman Square gardens, The Montagu provides a vibrant setting for breakfast, lunch, traditional afternoon tea, dinner and weekend brunch, with live music offered during dinner and weekend brunch. In addition, for an unforgettable culinary treat, the Chef’s Table offers a front-row seat to observe the exhilarating, fast-paced life of a chef.
Celebrate the weekend with mouthwatering dishes, free-flowing drinks and live music with our popular weekend brunches, including our New York Italian Style Saturday Brunch and Sunday Champagne Pommery Brunch.
The Montagu’s afternoon tea should not be missed and it is here that guests can enjoy a Traditional Afternoon Tea, a Champagne Afternoon Tea. The Montagu have also partnered with vintage inspired British brand, Cabbages & Roses to create a floral, summer afternoon tea, inspired by the famous Rose Garden at Chartwell, the Churchill family home.
Sir Winston Churchill famously enjoyed food not when the clock told him too, but when his tummy did. To celebrate this, you can enjoy a "Tummy Time” menu in The Promenade, offering traditional British favourites, including Yorkshire Pudding with Roast Beef and Gravy, Shepherd’s Pie and Scotch Quail Eggs with Tartare Sauce.
